Mike Warren will explain the tides of Morecambe Bay and their particular characteristics in the Arnside and Silverdale area. The talk will consider the geography, channels, sands and tidal patterns that make the bay distinctive, and why this dramatic coastal landscape has always required knowledge, care and respect.
