Stephen Cove is a prominent research and a committee member of the Cumbria Amenity Trust Mining History Society.  He will take us on a ‘walk’ around historic Whitehaven, this busy port town is known as Britain’s first planned town and was extensively developed in the 17th century by the Lowther family.
